Environment Minister Robyn Parker needs to come out of hiding and provide the public with up to date information about the crack in a sewer line which has sent hundreds of thousands of litres of raw effluent into the Perisher Creek in the Kosciuszko National Park.

"The sewer line and creek lie within the Kosciuszko National Park. This is a NSW Government responsibility," Shadow Minister Luke Foley said.

"There is no information on the Office of Environment and Heritage website or NSW Health website about this effluent leak.

"Where is Robyn Parker?

"The leaking of hundreds of thousands of litres of raw effluent into the Perisher Creek is an extremely concerning incident that could have a major impact on public safety.

"The Snowy River Shire Council has asked people in areas surrounding the lake to boil their water but there is no information coming from the O'Farrell Government."
