LABOR'S LEADERS TO TAKE WOLLONGONG'S PULSE WITH COMMUNITY CABINET

-->

The entire NSW Labor leadership will travel to Wollongong later this month to listen to the community's views on a variety of issues affecting the Illawarra.

All 22 members of Labor Leader Luke Foley's shadow cabinet will participate in the Community Cabinet initiative.

Key stakeholders will have the chance to meet with Mr Foley's team on Monday 19th September at the event.

In the lead up to the by-election later this year participants will be able to share with Mr Foley's leadership their experiences and views on a breadth of issues such as jobs, tourism, the future of steel and even the lifts at Unanderra station.

The initiative follows a number of recent visits by Mr Foley, the latest of which took place last month to protest against the Baird Government's decision to build the $2.3 billion intercity fleet in Korea instead of in Wollongong - a move that will cost the Illawarra hundreds of jobs.
